Role: Public Sector New Business Sales Specialist (Collaboration)
Location: Birmingham (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: £40,000 - £45,000, Company Car/Car Allowance,plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday. We also offer the opportunity to benefit from a Core Hours arrangement (role-specific), providing flexibility around your personal needs

Role Purpose
T his role involves identifying and engaging with potential clients, understanding their collaboration needs, and effectively positioning and selling AV & Collaboration products and services. The Sales Specialist will work closely with prospects, channel partners, and internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies and achieve sales targets.

Skills And Experience
Proven track record of success in B2B sales in the AV collaboration industry or related technology sector.
In-depth understanding of AV collaboration solutions, including video conferencing, audio systems, collaboration software and related technologies.
Experience and understanding of Public Sector tender process and framework management
Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, articulate solution value, and navigate complex sales cycles.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven and results orientated.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment.
