What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to deliver insights and value for clients within the life sciences industry. You will serve as a subject matter expert, lead critical projects, and help coach and develop junior team members.
How will you make an impact?
Role responsibilities
- Support the execution and delivery of consulting services for GP (Government Programs) engagements, including:
- Assisting clients with managing and meeting U.S. government program requirements.
- Assessing and quantifying the financial impact of methodology and data changes, including performing pricing restatements.
- Interpreting and analyzing large datasets to develop analytics and solutions to support business needs.
- Preparing analysis, presentations, and assessment reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Assisting with the automation and implementation of new processes to support GP calculations.
- Supporting system implementation projects, including collecting and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Manage time independently to complete client work in line with workplans, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government program compliance requirements to provide consultation to clients.
- Foster strong relationships with client personnel and internal engagement team members.
- Collaborate as a Consulting team member by:
- Contributing to a positive working environment and building strong relationships with team members.
- Identifying efficiencies within the team to streamline future engagement delivery.
Do you have what we're looking for?
Skills & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Accounting/ Finance, Business Administration or Technology related field with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Thorough understanding of GP compliance requirements and regulations.
- Thorough understanding of methodological considerations, calculation mechanics and reporting protocols for Average Manufacturer Price, Best Price, Average Sales Price, Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price, Unit Rebate Amount and 340B Pricing.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to synthesize findings.
- Strong experience working with large data sets or proficiency with data tools such as SQL, MS Access, MS Excel.
- Proven ability to function autonomously and exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations.
- Understanding of life sciences contracting, between Life Science manufacturers and Wholesalers, Managed Care Organizations and Group Purchasing Organizations.
- Willingness to travel
