Job description

About the Role

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Title Processor/Settlement Specialist to support our growing team. This is a full-time, in-office position with no remote work option.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with realtors, lenders, buyers, and sellers to coordinate settlements.
  • Examine titles and clear issues such as liens, judgments, and prior unreleased mortgages.
  • Review and interpret real estate contracts, lender documents, and title abstracts.
  • Order payoffs, HOA/Condo statements, water accounts, and other necessary documents.
  • Prepare and balance Closing Disclosures; review and assemble lender closing packages.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve title processing issues.
  • Handle day-to-day responsibilities within the title department.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in title processing, including MD, DC, and VA transactions.
  • Strong proficiency in Outlook, Word, Adobe, and title software (Ramquest preferred).
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
