A Little Bit About the Position


Are you passionate about shaping impactful product solutions? As a Product Owner II at Gemini Legal, you’ll play a key role in managing and delivering product features that align with user needs, business goals, and company vision. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll prioritize the product backlog, define the roadmap, and ensure each release brings maximum value.


This Product Owner II role is focused on a data-centric product, requiring a professional who can provide clear direction on report development and inform the overall development strategy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with Tableau and Snowflake to create meaningful data insights, leading communications with stakeholders in order to define and address their data needs.


Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive product improvements that support company growth. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, analyze customer experiences, and leverage data-driven insights to ensure continuous product development.   • Location: Fully remote in the Pacific time zone (California, Nevada, Oregon, or Washington)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Compensation: $115,000-$129,000/year
  • Travel: Required occasionally for client/vendor discovery or relevant conferences, when virtual options are not feasible
Requirements
  • Maintain a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance or other Gemini-approved training organization
  • 3+ year(s) of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent position
  • Scum experience or other Agile specific methodology experience required
  • Legal support and/or workers' compensation experience a plus
  • Follow Lean principles, flowchart processes, and value stream mapping understanding (training provided)
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to other knowledge workers and entry level specialists
  • Employ excellent time management, organizational skills, and self-motivation in balancing and handling multiple duties concurrently
  • Regularly engage in cross-functional collaboration with other teams
  • Ability to analyze, think quickly, and resolve conflicts
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, attendance, dress code and professionalism
  • Assist in process development for the Product departments workflows
  • Professionally and objectively conduct root cause analysis of issues as they arise to cultivate a problem-solving culture
  • Demonstrate discipline to follow all active processes to ensure standardization
  • Demonstrate accuracy and consistency within work assignments
  • Perform work safely
  • Promote Gemini core values, standards of conduct/integrity and its culture by employing high ethical standards and leading by example
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills; the team is very collaborative and clear/concise communication is imperative for that
  • Highly proficient using project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Pivotal Tracker, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Lucidchart, Balasmiq, etc.
  • Highly Proficient in Google Apps preferred (or Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex documents such as contracts and law
  • Basic HIPAA understanding


Functional Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to:

  • Sitting or standing for at least one hour at a time (total: 6-8 hours/day)
  • Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total: 2-4 hours/day)
  • Using a phone with or without a headset for extended periods (total: 2-4 hours/day)
