At ACRT Services, our organizational culture is built on four strategic pillars: the amazing accomplishments of our people, dedication to long-term success, the benefits of a job done right, and the transformative power of education.

About the Role

The ETL and Integrations Developer reports to the Lead Business Analyst at ACRT Services. This position will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing ETL pipelines, developing integrations across critical business systems, and ensuring data flows seamlessly to support organizational decision-making and operations. The role requires technical expertise in databases, ETL processes and integrations as well as a curious, self-motivated approach to solving complex data challenges.

What You’ll Do

Maintain and Optimize ETL Pipelines

  • Oversee and maintain existing ETL workflows to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with ETL processes, ensuring data pipelines are healthy and functional.
  • Organize and document existing workflows to improve long-term maintainability.

Develop and Support Integrations

  • Build and maintain integrations with platforms such as Workday and Azure Data Factory.
  • Use APIs to connect systems and support seamless data exchange.
  • Utilize GitHub for version control and deployment of integration-related code.

Manage and Maintain Existing Databases

  • Ensure the health and performance of existing SQL Server databases, including maintaining database tables, monitoring usage, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updating schemas, managing indexes, and resolving issues with data storage or access.
  • Use T-SQL to troubleshoot and diagnose database-related issues, ensuring that data pipelines and integrations operate as expected.

Support Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for actionable insights, empowering internal teams to make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide expertise for new dashboarding and reporting needs as the business evolves.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize and redesign reporting workflows.

Document and Manage Knowledge

  • Capture institutional knowledge by documenting processes, workflows, and technical designs.
  • Create flowcharts, wireframes, and technical guides to ensure continuity and clarity.
  • Document database structures, relationships, and processes to improve system understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Partner with IT, operations, and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Work closely with team members to identify improvements to workflows and systems.

Participate in Strategic Projects

  • Contribute to high-priority projects like redesigning customer-facing databases or supporting ongoing database migration and optimization initiatives.
  • Help integrate IT systems and databases into larger business frameworks, such as Workday, to streamline operations.
  • Stay informed about advancements in AI/ML and explore use cases within the Microsoft Stack that could benefit the organization.

Other duties as assigned.
