Job description

About the Team:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Instructional Designer and Trainer to develop and execute strategies enabling our teams, customers, and partners to maximize the value of our Sift Console and Platform. This role will be pivotal in bridging technical expertise with business objectives, ensuring that internal teams, partners, and customers have the resources, training, and support needed to succeed.

What you’ll do:

Technical Training Development:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive technical training program for a technical audience, including customer experience, sales engineering, customers, and partners.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals and product roadmap.

  • Develop and deliver training content on product usability, functionality, and troubleshooting.

  • Create and update training materials when new features are added, or existing features are changed.

  • Implement continuous development training to ensure consistent baseline knowledge.

Certification:

  • Establish certification programs to validate and enhance technical proficiency across customer-facing teams, customers, and partners.

Content Creation:

  • Create and maintain technical enablement materials, including guides, tutorials, FAQs, and best practices in collaboration with other product and product marketing teams.

  • Work with product and marketing teams to ensure consistent and high-quality messaging.

Performance Measurement and Optimization:

  • Define metrics to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders to improve enablement initiatives.

What would make you a strong fit:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or enablement related field/training and learning development for a SaaS company that included teams of technical customer-facing roles.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in technical roles within SaaS or technology companies, with at least 2 years in an enablement or learning leadership capacity.

  • Proven experience developing and delivering technical training and enablement programs.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity or fraud prevention architectures, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies.

  • Proficiency with tools like LMS platforms, documentation software, and analytics tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
