SAP FICO Consultant (Contract - Remote- No C2C)

Are you an experienced SAP FICO professional ready to make an impact? We’re seeking a SAP FICO Consultant to support financial operations and enable cutting-edge technology configurations. This fully remote contract role allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while contributing to dynamic SAP Finance projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth knowledge and support for all SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules.
• Design, create, and troubleshoot reports using SAP Reporting Tools (e.g., Business Intelligence and Business Objects).
• Collaborate with Finance Business Owners to understand reporting needs and develop solutions.
• Analyze financial processes and design functional improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize technology to automate financial processes.
• Support the implementation of finance systems with a focus on customer service, internal controls, data governance, and project management.
• Deliver technical and functional support for:
• Vendor payments, settlements, reconciliations, and remittances.
• Inter-company billings, reconciliation, settlements, and cash application.
• Provide ongoing training for end users on SAP FI/CO and reporting tools.
• Conduct Indirect Ariba BuyNow testing and related procurement tasks.
• Supervise operations or business support staff to ensure compliance and high-quality results.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience with SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling).
• Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC-FI/CO configuration and integration with other modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, cash and treasury management, inventory management, and cost center accounting.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and testing SAP finance functions and configurations.
• Skilled in creating and troubleshooting reports using SAP Reporting Tools (e.g., Business Intelligence and Business Objects).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong ability to analyze financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Proven experience managing inter-company billing, reconciliation, settlements, and cash application.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on training and supporting end users.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with advanced SAP reporting tools like Business Objects and Business Intelligence.
• Knowledge of SAP module integration with other business functions (e.g., procurement, supply chain).
• Experience with Indirect Ariba BuyNow testing or similar procurement tools.
• Strong project management skills for SAP finance system implementations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with finance business owners to address operational needs.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for financial and system-related challenges.
