Overview

IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company looking for a Senior Web Developer/Data Engineer to support our contract with U.S. Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS).

As a Web Developer/Data Engineer you will support the design, development, enhancement, debugging and implementation of software applications focused on data science, data visualization and data analysis using JavaScript, Typescript, React/NextJS, and Python. You are comfortable gathering requirements and working with stakeholders, subject matter experts and end-users to conduct thorough analysis and software development of business processes and identify enhancements.

Responsibilities/Duties

Building out custom JavaScript applications using standard front-end development tools to host graph-based visualizations along with other project information
Developing graph visualizations using D3 JavaScript library
Supporting clear and concise JIRA tickets for team task management
Participating in daily scrums and communicating effectively with all members of the team
Mapping out and documenting processes using Confluence & other virtual whiteboard tools
Providing technical consultation, training and support to IT staff as designated by the government.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience with JavaScript, React/NextJS, Typescript, HTML & CSS for web development
2+ years of experience with programming languages such as Apache Spark, Python and JSON Schema
2+ years of experience producing and consuming Rest APIs
Ability to develop visualizations, models, charts and diagrams to convey concepts, ideas, processes
Comfortable using popular JS frameworks, such as D3.js, node.js & jQuery
Ability to write complex SQL queries and scripts
Participates in planning design, technical review, implementation and demos of advanced analytics projects
Understands how to create and integrate APIs into projects to communicate with other tools and platforms
Experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban, and management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Experience with GIT and branching strategies
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with ever-evolving IT projects
Exhibits strong communication skills
Comfortable working as part of a team of other developers and systems engineers to meet various sprint and project deadlines.
Should have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred – Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.

Preferred Skills

2+ years of JAVA Springboot experience
Basic understanding of machine learning
Knowledge of working with Databricks
Experience with engineering/DevOps tools (i.e. Jenkins)
