Job description

The Total Rewards Specialist will provide front-line support and guidance to Helios employees, overseeing, managing, and administering employee rewards and benefits programs and communications. The TRS will support projects aimed at implementing new and or improved programs and processes, collecting employee feedback to identify the progress of programs, and translate insights into opportunities and action that result in process improvement and an improved employee experience. The TRS will collaborate with HR leadership to make data-driven decisions based on trends and insights.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

  • Responsible for managing and implementing total rewards programs, health and wellness programs, and the defined contribution retirement plan for the organization
  • Suggest, develop, and roll out new benefits initiatives and programs
  • Ensures benefits changes are accurate and updated in ADP Workforce Now
  • Partner with HR leadership and brokers to develop benefit plan designs for annual renewal
  • Prepare census data reports for benefit renewals
  • Develop communication materials, strategies and project plans to enhance employees’ understanding of benefits offerings and employee satisfaction
  • Manage new hires, QLEs, and annual benefits enrollments
  • Fund 401(k) account, audit 401(k) deductions and prepare 401(k) reports
  • Process and reconcile benefit billing and invoices
  • Manage COBRA process and vendor relationship; manage benefit continuation process for employees on LOA
  • Ensure that the company’s benefit and total rewards programs are consistently communicated to employees, providing quarterly total rewards statements through ADP
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries via phone and email
  • Manage benefit vendor relationships in partnership with HR leadership
  • Provide ongoing employee reports as needed
  • Perform project work and other duties as assigned

 

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related business degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a compensation and benefits role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of benefits and 401(k).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, and CEBS professional designations preferred.

Helios' compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The total pay for this position ranges from $65,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $80,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
