Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Sr. DevOps Engineer to support one of our fastest-growing clients in the Cybersecurity and IAM space. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Required:
5+ years of recent DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least 3 of the following AWS services: EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, with hands-on deployment expertise.
2 years of Kubernetes experience, including containerization.
Familiarity with Terraform for managing AWS infrastructure, including reading and authoring configuration files.
Coding proficiency in Python, Bash, or Golang, beyond scripting.
Knowledge of security tools like firewalls and DDos prevention.
Desired:
3+ years of CI/CD experience with Github or Github Actions.
Exposure to Google Cloud or Azure.
Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies.
Experience with security audits and standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Responsibilities:
Building and supporting scalable, secure infrastructure.
Providing technology recommendations for AWS implementations.
Collaborating with teammates to design and implement controls for safety and accuracy.
Directly implementing the CI/CD toolchain.
Developing effective monitoring and metrics.
Identifying delivery bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Performing Site Reliability Engineering tasks as needed.
Promoting best CI/CD practices.
