Team mission:

The Revenue team is the heartbeat of GetYourGuide’s marketplace. We drive the commission calculation engine and orchestrate the seamless distribution of funds to our stakeholders, ensuring every transaction is accurate and traceable, fueling the growth and success of our value chain. Our collaborative culture fosters teamwork and innovation, and combined with continuous optimization helps us achieve our strategic goals and elevate how we manage revenue at GetYourGuide.

You will:

Be responsible for all hiring and performance management topics on the Engineering side, helping your engineers reach their full potential.
Partner closely with your Product Manager to manage the roadmap and portfolio allocation to drive impactful projects.
Find pragmatic solutions to complex technical challenges that span across multiple services, platforms, and domains of our Marketplace.
Collaborate with stakeholders in the broader business on initiatives, including Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Suppliers, and Partners.
Oversee the processing of cancellations, modifications, reductions, and refunds.
Ensure efficient and accurate accounting, invoicing, and payment processes.

Who you are:

You are experienced in the fields of revenue management, accounting, invoicing, and payment processing. You feel at home in the world of financial systems, compliance, transaction processing, and financial reporting.
Monitoring financial infrastructure and ensuring continuous accuracy and reliability is second nature to you.
You have a strong sense of ownership, ensuring that technical and project plans are aligned with your stakeholders & team members for delivery.
Enjoy approaching complex topics with an open mind and eye for simplicity.
Have a passion for people, supporting and coaching your engineers without going into micromanagement mode.
Not only care about technical topics but are passionate about the customers and apply that judgment to your own roadmap.
Motivated to work in an international cross-functional environment, collaborating with Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Suppliers, and Partners.

Bonus points for:

Experience with ERPs or building and managing in-house accounting infrastructure
Experience working in a startup environment taking projects from start to finish
Experience working in (or closely with) e-commerce marketplaces
Experience operating as a product manager/owner
