Job Description


As an AU Broker's Assistant, you will be an essential part of the:
  • Loan Application Processing: Assist in preparing and submitting loan applications, ensuring all documents meet lender requirements and are accurate.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain client details and relevant documentation in our internal systems.
  • Progress Payments: Coordinate and manage progress payment requests during the construction loan process.
  • Discharge Management: Assist in the discharge process, ensuring smooth transitions for clients and compliance with lender requirements.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, referrers, and financial institutions, providing updates and addressing inquiries promptly.


Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an AU Broker's Assistant.
  • Previous experience in mortgage broking or a related financial services role is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of loan processes and lender requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email management and calendar tasks.
    • Familiarity with Broker Engine for workflow management and loan processing.
    • Competence in using Apply Online for loan submissions and related tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry, document preparation, and ensuring compliance with lender and regulatory standards.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients, referrers, and banks in a clear and professional manner.
  • Organization: Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • A relevant qualification in finance, business, or a related field would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Knowledge of additional loan processing tools or software is a plus.
