Capital Technology Group (CTG) is on a mission to modernize and innovate how the federal government delivers software. For this role, we are specifically seeking individuals to help support high-impact civic tech within the federal government.

We are currently looking for a Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams to improve collaboration and performance, and ensure the successful delivery of projects for our federal clients. You will also help remove obstacles, drive team productivity, and ensure that the team remains adaptable and focused on delivering high-quality results.

Client Requirements: applicants MUST BE US Citizens and able to obtain Public Trust clearance

Location - Remote (Candidates must be based in the Washington, DC area)

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies by leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics, sprint velocity, and KPIs
  • Coordinate and manage Agile projects, ensuring that teams remain on track and meet objectives
  • Assist teams in identifying and mitigating risks related to the technical aspects of the project to ensure smooth delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and quickly resolve any issues that arise
  • Coach teams to enhance collaboration, communication, and self-organization
Requirements
  • Local to the Washington DC area
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and team management skills
  • Ability to understand the technical details of a project and assess risks
  • Experience coordinating and driving Agile projects within fast-paced environments
  • Ability to coach teams to improve collaboration and self-organization

Nice to Have:

  • Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
  • Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
  • SAFe certified or experience (or other scaled agile frameworks)

Salary Information

We are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $95,000 to $120,000 annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect. The final offer may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors.
