We are actively seeking a Sr. Sales Development Representative. This is a remote position that is based in Tokyo, Japan. Minimal travel required (10% or less).

 

Position Summary

 

The main responsibilities of the Sr. Sales Development Representative will be finding and qualifying leads by prospecting for business opportunities within new clients. This position will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing prospects to move them from unidentified leads to with an appointment to talk with an Account Executive and Sales Accepted Leads. The SDR will utilize outbound phone calls, email, video, and social media to reach decision makers within predefined targets; develop ongoing relationships with contacts by providing value to the contact in every interaction; high level of product competency and oral and written communication.

 

In this opportunity as a Sr. Sales Development Representative, you will:

  • Prospect for new sales opportunities, with the focus on impacting the win pipeline (target the right ICP), schedule a first call and assist the sales process.
  • Make outbound phone calls to customers and prospects to set appointments.
  • Hit or exceed your monthly and annual targets and maintain consistently strong performance at 100% of your YTD goals.
  • Hit or exceed your daily contact targets and activity metrics.
  • Actively engage in the coaching process, partnering well with managers and individuals on your teams to share ideas and learn from each other.
  • Accurately, and in a timely manner, log all activities and customer contacts in Salesforce.
  • Create sequenced email & video campaigns to create hand raising opportunities
  • Utilize social media platforms to connect and further score potential leads.
  • Provide a feedback loop to Marketing on effectiveness of demand generation campaigns.
  • Provide a feedback loop to Value Proposition on effectiveness of persona and solutions
  • Attend on site events and follow up on leads generated at the event and create outbound strategies to engage contacts that attended the event but didn’t not engage.
  • Support sales with proficiency in prospecting tools such as sales navigator

  • Total revenue of deals closed from appointments
  • Track qualifying data in CRM to properly score leads.
  • Data maintenance for prospects
  • Pilot new sales enablement tools

 

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes: 

  • 4-6 years of B2B work experience in prospecting, sales, lead generation or preferred experience in software/SaaS market.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and influence over the phone, email and video
  • Strong interpersonal skills (personable and professional)
  • Motivated self-driven solution oriented individual
  • Ability to handle and overcome objections with confidence
  • Agile learners – Ability to learn new skills and build business acumen
  • Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer’s workday
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate software programs, including CRM systems and tools (Microsoft Suite), Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Zoom Info
  • Maintain stable performance under pressure (such as time pressure or job ambiguity)
  • Display determination, persistence, and patience and be resilient in the face of adversity.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
