Role Overview
The Vice President (VP) of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding a robust partner network that accelerates revenue growth and broadens the company’s market presence. This role involves creating strategic alliances with key players in the SaaS ecosystem, including technology providers, resellers, and service partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building successful partner programs in the B2B SaaS space and will work cross-functionally to drive initiatives that deliver mutual value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute the overall partnership strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and growth objectives. Identify new partnership opportunities and verticals for expansion.
- Partner Recruitment: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new technology, reseller, and channel partners to extend the company’s reach and capabilities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key partners. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value partners, managing communication, expectations, and performance.
- Go-to-Market Collaborations: Collaborate with partners to create joint go-to-market strategies, including co-marketing initiatives, product integrations, and bundled offerings.
- Revenue Growth: Drive measurable revenue growth through partnerships, developing incentive programs, and creating mutual value propositions that lead to high-impact deals.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with internal teams—Sales, Marketing, Product, Consulting and Customer Success—to align partnership efforts with company objectives and ensure the successful execution of joint initiatives.
- Partner Enablement: Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and resources to sell and implement the company’s SaaS solutions successfully.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish KPIs to measure the success and ROI of partnerships. Regularly report on partner performance, revenue contribution, and growth potential to senior leadership.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the SaaS ecosystem. Use this information to refine partnership strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract discussions and negotiations with partners to establish agreements that are favorable and sustainable for both parties.
- C-Suite Networking & Engagement: In support of this position as well as other areas and efforts within MedeAnalytics, build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives at various healthcare organizations, including payers, providers, vendors, employers and benefits brokers.
Qualifications:
Experience, Expertise & Skills/Attributes
- Partnership Development & Expansion: 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or channel management, ideally within healthcare IT (HCIT) B2B SaaS companies. Demonstrated success in building and scaling partner ecosystems that drive significant revenue growth.
- HCIT Ecosystem Expertise: Expert-level understanding of the HCIT vendor ecosystem (e.g., EMRs, care management, BPOs, clearinghouses, etc.) and e-commerce marketplace (e.g., AWS Marketplace, Epic Showroom, etc.) dynamics. Proficiency in navigating complex partner ecosystems and e-commerce marketplaces. A proven track record of establishing and leveraging your company’s position in the ecosystem and marketplaces.
- Healthcare Technology: Experience in healthcare technology, with a focus on AI, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Healthcare Domain: Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, particularly VBC, Population Health, and Healthcare Analytics.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Passion for driving transformative change in healthcare through technology.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex concepts and strategies into clear, actionable information.
- Strong executive presence and self-confidence to represent MedeAnalytics effectively in various forums.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on key performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
- Extensive experience and expertise using productivity & selling solutions such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce, SalesLoft, etc.
Additional Information:
MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000 USD + commission opportunities. Please note that actual compensations for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
