SoundCloud is looking for an Administrative Business Associate who will serve as a strategic administrative partner to our EVP & General Council. You will be the core of their operations and activities. Your work will enable the company to maximise its productivity by simplifying collaboration and connection with one another.  To be successful in this role, you should be energetic, personable and willing to take the initiative to jump in and assist with issues as they arise. You should also have the ability to work independently on projects and can work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. This individual should be proactive, have excellent communication skills and follow through.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic gatekeeper of the Executive’s time to ensure an adequate balance of the calendar to maintain time for strategic thought, Board and external stakeholder relationship building, etc.
  • Ability to support the scheduling and coordination of the EVP for all internal/external meetings with strong attention to precision and detail 
  • Organise the Executive organisation’s meeting cadence, including agenda prioritisation, preparation and distribution of materials.
  • Develop, author and create presentations using company-branded templates
  • Assist in managing company & team meetings/events (All Hands, People team meetings, hybrid events.), including scheduling rooms; securing and preparing audio/video equipment for presentations; securing meeting materials or digital files from all applicable divisions and storing documents for future reference
  • Translate complex issues into simple courses of action
  • Understand your leaders' business preferences and priorities to support their time best. 
  • Manage inquiries quickly and proactively and follow through on tasks to successful completion.
  • Support your leaders in maintaining relationships with key people to ensure progression in communications and to surface and pursue opportunities for collaboration. 
  • When engaging with internal and external stakeholders, embrace your leaders' culture, values, and goals.
  • Assist with special projects as needed. 
  • Recognise operational weaknesses and help sharpen processes or develop new ones.
  • Collaborate with other admin team members to provide seamless support for the company.

Experience and Background:

  • Must have experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-Level Executives, EVP, Chief of Staff or similar experience. 
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Independent self-starter with an active sense of urgency and impeccable follow-through who can manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines and rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Trustworthy and can work with sensitive & confidential information/matters at all times with discretion.
  • Capable of managing stakeholder relationships across multiple functions internally and externally
  • Proactive & Resourceful - is very solutions-oriented. 
  • No job should be too small, nor should any problem be too big to work through, mainly through collaboration with the team.
  • Based in Berlin. You understand the highly adaptable nature of support work and are comfortable being available as needed.
  • Capacity to navigate, digest, and make decisions amidst uncertainty. Committed to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly accommodate new applications and tools.
  • Excellent command of Google Suite (including Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Docs & Google Slides) for preparing presentations and drafting various forms of correspondence requested by the EVP and General Council.
