As a Client Implementation Engineer at Portfolio BI, you will be responsible for configuring and implementing Portfolio BI solutions to the requirements of alternative asset managers. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and ability to collaborate with stakeholders externally and internally. 

Responsibilities:

  • Solution engineer tailoring technical solutions to meet client-specific requirements
  • Instal, configure and integrate PBI SaaS solutions
  • Develop processes for data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, and analysis 
  • Communicate and manage internal and external implementation requirements and expectations 
  • Manage software product releases and upgrades 
  • Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support the various client and internal initiatives 
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in software development. Hands-on experience in C# .NET is required
  • 3+ years of solid hands-on experience in SQL, MS SQL. Strong relational database expertise is required
  • Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred
  • Prior experience in the finance sector or working on financial products is desirable
  • Strong experience with version control systems
  • Experience with cloud services - Azure-AD, Azure-SQL, Azure-app-registrations, etc. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field

  • Platform - .NET Core, SQL Server, Angular, DevEx, ProtoBuf, Apache Kafka, GraphQL
  • DevOps - Git (Bitbucket), TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Docker/Kubernetes
