JOB SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator helps support the execution of various projects within Cornerstone’s Program Management Office. The coordinator will work on a variety of projects within the advisory, performance, selection, conversion, and technology practices. Working closely with Project Managers or Program Managers, this position ensures that projects progress smoothly, adhere to schedules, meet quality standards, and stay within budgetary constraints.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Knowledge and Skills
· Coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
· Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams, including arranging meetings, coordinating schedules, and managing project documentation.
· Track project progress and milestones, identifying any deviations from the project plan and working with project leaders to address them.
· Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other materials for stakeholders.
· Communicate project updates and key information to team members and stakeholders as required.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
· Support project leaders or managers in identifying risks and issues and developing strategies to mitigate them.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ESSENTIAL QUALITIES
Technical Skills
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and collaboration tools (Teams and SharePoint).
· Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
· Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
· Ability to create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
· Basic understanding of financial services industry terminology and concepts (preferred).

· Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients, both verbally and in writing, to convey information, facilitate discussions, and build rapport.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 1-3 years of related experience in project coordination or administrative support role.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools (SharePoint and Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior banking or financial services consulting experience is a plus.
