What you’ll be responsible for:

The Privileging Coordinator works as the point of contact for our client facility Medical Staff Offices. They are responsible for ensuring all physician privileges are granted and re-appointments are completed every 2 years. Between these privileging cycles they are the point of contact for the MSO. Works closely with the Credentialing and Licensing teams to support their process and to ensure clean and current provider credentialing files.


  What you’ll work on:

  • Work with internal teams to ensure files are prepared for privileging process at all client facilities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Participate in new client Kick Off Calls 
  • Report status of all new implementation privileges weekly
  • Review applications/re-appointments to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Use credentialing system to process all facility privilege – ECHO
  • Follow up with facilities and answer any requests they have to complete privileging files for approval
  • Make sure applications have been received, document all progress, and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Escalate issues to management as necessary
  • Ensure work and product standards are of the highest level
  • Correspond with physicians as needed to obtain information in a professional manner
  • Other projects as assigned by management


  What you’ll bring to Access TeleCare:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school diploma with 3 years’ experience in medical staff field
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and provide exemplary customer service via verbal and written means with internal customers, hospitals, and vendors in a diverse and distributed team environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office programs, communication, and collaboration tools in various operating system
  • Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, follow through and focus on details
  • Understanding of medical terminology 
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a remote and fast-paced environment 
  • Ability  to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
