Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist with 2–3 years of experience to join our team. This role focuses on designing and delivering impactful learning experiences through cutting-edge tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in learning experience design, including the use of Articulate Rise, design tools, and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS). You will play a pivotal role in developing learning programmes, creating structured curricula, and enhancing internal development initiatives such as onboarding and employee growth programmes.

Responsibilities
  1. Learning Design & Development:

    • Create engaging learning experiences using tools like Articulate Rise, Synthesia, and Iorad, including interactive content and simulations tailored to business needs.

  2. Programme & Curriculum Development:

    • Support and contribute to the implementation of accreditation programmes, employee learning pathways, and a comprehensive onboarding journey and initiatives.

    • Develop employee development programmes to foster skill enhancement and career progression.

  3. Learning Technology Management:

    • Manage and optimise the company’s LMS to track and evaluate content effectiveness.

    • Integrate learning analytics to assess programme performance and identify areas for improvement.

  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand learning needs and align strategies with business goals.

    • Partner with external stakeholders to design and implement specialised learning solutions as required.

  5. Facilitation & Engagement:

    • Deliver in-person and virtual learning sessions when necessary.

    • Utilise Learning Needs Analyses (LNAs) to identify gaps and tailor learning initiatives effectively.

  6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

    • Leverage AI tools to enhance learning experiences and automate processes.

    • Stay updated with the latest trends in L&D to ensure innovative approaches to learning design.

Requirements
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar L&D role, preferably within a software or tech company.

  • Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Experience or knowledge of curriculum and programme development, including accreditation programmes and learning pathways.

  • Core competencies include:

    • Instructional Design: Crafting engaging, learner-centred content.
    • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Assessing learning needs, evaluating data, and measuring impact.
    • Creativity: Designing innovative and effective learning programmes.
    • Communication: Clear and impactful communication with diverse audiences.
    • Collaboration: Building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Learning Technology: Leveraging tools like LMS, authoring, and design software effectively.
    • Project Management: Managing timelines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
