We seek a Digital Shelf Manager to lead creative and marketing asset development across Amazon. We are looking for a storyteller. A visual merchandiser living in a digital world. Someone who can visualize a customer journey and then create it. The ideal candidate will blend deep marketplace and/or enterprise D2C expertise with a visually compelling and growth-oriented mindset. This individual will own the development and optimization of all digital and creative collateral—from product listings to A+ content and brand store designs—translating performance metrics into powerful visual stories that drive sales, customer loyalty, and brand equity in a highly competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Execute Creative Strategy
Collaborate with Neato’s creative team, brand management team, business intelligence and client stakeholders to develop and implement a holistic digital shelf merchandising plan for Amazon.
Become a Product Expert
Immerse yourself in the brand’s offerings—understanding features, benefits, and unique selling propositions—to accurately translate these details into high-impact creative assets that enhance conversion rates across Amazon and other retail platforms.
Selling Story, Art Direction & Stakeholder Coordination
Oversee selling story, merchandising, copywriting, and creative workflows for Amazon across diverse stakeholders—including production teams, project management, brand marketing, and launch coordinators—to ensure efficient and consistent execution of new product detail page and storefront launches.
End-to-End Creative Asset Management
Oversee the creation, editing, and optimization of all digital shelf assets—product listings, A+ content, titles, bullets, storefronts, and advertising materials—maintaining a unified selling story that resonates across multiple touchpoints.
Data Collection & Analysis
Partner with our Business Intelligence team to implement a comprehensive framework for collecting both quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate asset performance. Leverage insights from A/B testing, consumer behavior analytics, and platform metrics to refine creative approaches and boost engagement.
Marketplace Trend Monitoring
Stay ahead of Amazon’s evolving best practices, technological updates, and marketplace trends, making proactive recommendations to retain a competitive edge while upholding compliance.
Executive & Team Communication
Regularly update Neato leadership and creative teams on digital shelf progress, key performance indicators, and strategic recommendations to address challenges or capitalize on emerging opportunities. You will report directly to the founders for the first 3-6 months.
Qualifications
Educational/Professional Background
Professional experience in Digital Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising, D2C, Amazon, or a related field.
Amazon Ecosystem Expertise
Significant hands-on experience in developing creative assets for Amazon, with a thorough grasp of Amazon’s algorithm, Terms of Service, and best practices for listing optimization. High-level D2C experience and an understanding of Amazon's ecosystem are also valued.
Advanced AI Proficiency
Highly skilled in orchestrating large language model capabilities—prompt engineering, iteration, and fine-tuning—to streamline tasks, accelerate content creation, and substantially reclaim time for higher-level strategic and creative work.
Organizational & Communication Skills
Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with cross-functional and external partners. You must be “start-up nimble.”
Autonomous Work Style
Proven capability to self-manage projects and timelines while proactively identifying new opportunities for optimization.
Creative Software Proficiency
Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software; familiarity with Amazon-specific tools and platforms is helpful.

Compensation
$85,000-$125,000 based on experience, with the ability to grow quickly
