Join Our Team as a Governance Specialist. We are seeking a talented Governance Specialist to join our team, focusing on root cause analysis, enterprise term definitions, and documentation for data governance processes. In this role, you will be responsible for driving key governance initiatives to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards. You will work with advanced technologies like Azure, DataBricks, and Collibra to help maintain high standards for data management across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues in data management and governance processes.

  • Define and document enterprise terms to ensure consistency and accuracy across all systems and teams.

  • Utilize tools such as Calybra, Azure, DataBricks, Github, and Collibra to manage and govern data.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for governance processes, ensuring transparency and clarity for all stakeholders.

  • Apply strong SQL programming skills to support governance and data analysis tasks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data governance strategies with business requirements and technical needs.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve data management practices across the enterprise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data governance, with a strong focus on root cause analysis and defining enterprise terms.

  • Familiarity with tools like Calybra, Azure, DataBricks, Github, and Collibra for data management and governance.

  • Strong SQL programming skills to support governance and data analysis tasks.

  • Excellent documentation skills to create clear, concise, and accurate records.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data governance issues.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
