Senior Director, Partnerships
Sales, Marketing, and Communications
Permanent/Full-Time Position

The Sr. Director, Partnerships is responsible for driving new business partnerships (domestic and global) as part of a sponsorship team. Tasked with generating partnership revenue for the Cirque Brand and Shows, this individual will lead sponsorship outreach, pitches and negotiation across a broad scope of opportunities with an emphasis on large scale deals. This role will report to the VP, Partnerships.
Essential Functions
· Lead new business sales efforts for partnerships across the Global Client Portfolio
· Generate leads, drive revenue, lead contract negotiations, and work with internal stakeholders to ensure deals are beneficial for client and company
· Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth. Adept at analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets.
· Relationship development and management; Leverage network, relationships, and cold outreach to identify new business
· International outlook and ability to work with diverse cultures.
· Willingness to travel and meet with clients in person, attend events, and networking functions (as needed).
· Play an active role in the key category development.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· 8+ years of integrated domestic & global integrated brand partnership/sponsorship sales experience within Arts & Entertainment (i.e. live events, event / experiential production agencies, media platforms, sports marketing agencies, fashion publishing, and so on).
· Successful track record with deal sizes reaching the seven-figure range.
· Passionate about Arts & Entertainment, fostering creativity and joy within a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Skilled storyteller with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives with autonomy.
· Hunter-mentality, high EQ, and comfortable with ambiguity.
· High-level contacts at large / midsize corporations, particularly companies with partnership portfolios.
· Knowledge of and interest in entertainment and sponsorship landscapes, confident across white-space partnership development
