We invite a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join VeliHorizon product team.

Horizon is the API-driven, microservices-based platform that takes online casinos, sports betting, and beyond to the next level. 

Our cutting-edge technology integrates with leading gaming providers for a highly secure, compliant gaming environment that's designed to meet all clients' needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop new auto-test cases using Java
• Test execution control
• Extend framework with new functionality
• Rewrite tests from Groovy to Java
• Identify, verify, and report issues
• Communicate with QA, Development, and Support teams
• Follow existing QA processes and provide improvements

Requirements:

• Experience with Java 8+
• Deep understanding of programming principles(SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, etc.)
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with DB(SQL/NoSQL)
• Knowledge of software development process, testing life cycle understanding, CI/CD understanding
• Understanding of Agile methodology, practical experience with Scrum framework
• Extremely detail-oriented, investigator and troubleshooter
• Excellent communication skills (English and Ukrainian)

Would be a plus:

• Experience with test framework creation using Java
• Ability to read and understand Groovy code for maintaining legacy tests
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Familiarity with distributed systems and testing in Kubernetes environments
