Position at Grid Dynamics

Our customer is one of the world's largest technology companies based in Silicon Valley with operations all over the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic and technology-proficient SDET, who is a self-starter, ready to dig in and contribute, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver quality results. The work is challenging, but you can count on a deep level of support from your team  

 Responsibilities :  

  • Analyze business and technical requirements
  • Review functional requirements
  • Develop UI and API automated tests (functional, integration, regression)
  • Analyze test area, collect test data requirements, and build managed test data set
  • Execute tests, analyze results and report status to the team
  • Configure CI test runs, collect metrics on test automation execution
  • Closely collaborate with the customer and other technical teams

Requirements :  

  • Have at least 4 years of experience working as a Quality Engineering professional with a demonstrated ability to make an immediate impact
  • Have worked with API, UI, functional, white box (Java), and integration testing for applications
  • Have experience with UNIX commands (for example, accessing remote servers, working with file systems, grepping logs using regular expressions, and accessing NoSQL)
  • Have expertise in Java programming, understand Java application and test code, and can write unit and integration tests in Java
  • Study and use Java libraries (for example, Selenium, Apache Commons, HttpNing, jsoup, XML libraries, and JSON libraries) for accessing web elements, XML, JSON, SVN, Jenkins, and databases (NoSQL, SQL)
  • Able to build automation frameworks from scratch and can write unit and integration test cases using JUnit and TestNG
  • Possess a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, SVN/ Git, Maven, SBT, and Jenkins
  • Can work with version control systems like SVN and Git
  • Have demonstrable troubleshooting skills for isolating issues and are solutions oriented when developing test code
  • Have familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and work together to come up with the best solutions
  • Have a dream of working in a creative, dynamic, and challenging work environment
  • Have a positive attitude and are willing to jump in and help out when support is needed
