Role
As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our day-to-day accounting operations. You'll work closely with our team to ensure smooth financial processes, particularly during our busy seasonal periods.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Performing regular bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assisting with payroll processing
  • Maintaining organized financial records and documentation
  • Helping prepare monthly financial reports
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Managing vendor payments and communications
  • Tracking and recording inventory-related transactions
  • Assisting with basic financial analysis and reporting


Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Shopify (some retail/e-commerce at minimum if not Shopify)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with data entry and financial record keeping
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with numbers
  • Comfort with learning new software systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-commerce businesses
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking systems
  • Experience with high-volume transaction processing
  • Background in seasonal business operations
  • Experience with Ramp.com and A2X are nice to have but not essential
