We are actively seeking a Sr. AI Data Scientist, ServiceNow. The role may require periodic travel as necessary across the world. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.
Position Summary
As part of our Rimini Consult group, the Sr. AI Data Scientist, ServiceNow is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating advanced AI-driven solutions that transform enterprise workflows and processes. Leveraging Generative AI (GenAI), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), NowAssist AI, and agentic AI agents, this role focuses on enabling AI-powered collaboration to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency. By aligning AI capabilities with persona-driven, Human-Centered Experiences, the architect ensures that AI agents work cohesively to provide proactive insights, guidance, and automation tailored to specific business roles and scenarios.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI solutions using GenAI, RAG, and NowAssist AI to deliver predictive insights, operational intelligence, and actionable recommendations.
- Design multi-agent AI systems where NowAssist AI and other AI agents collaborate seamlessly to support business roles/personas.
- Develop intelligent workflows that integrate AI agents to proactively guide users, address challenges, and automate repetitive tasks.
- Ensure AI solutions are embedded into enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, and other ERP systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map day-in-the-life, week-in-the-life, and month-in-the-life scenarios for key personas.
- Create AI-powered, persona-centric experiences that offer context-aware assistance, reducing complexity and enhancing productivity.
- Partner with UX/UI design teams to build intuitive interfaces that seamlessly integrate AI agents, ensuring optimal user adoption.
- Focus on delivering business outcomes by aligning AI solutions with organizational goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
- Design AI agents to work collaboratively to assist personas with insights, decision-making, and task execution.
- Equip agents with distinct yet complementary capabilities (e.g., NowAssist AI for conversational workflows, task-specific bots for automation) to provide unified role support.
- Enable AI agents to anticipate needs, recommend next steps, and proactively address challenges to empower roles such as managers, analysts, and frontline staff.
- Define scalable and secure data architectures to support AI and ML applications, including data lakes, ETL pipelines, and governance frameworks.
- Drive enterprise adoption of AI technologies to optimize business processes, enhance outcomes, and streamline operations.
- Align AI and data strategies with evolving business objectives to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies in AI, GenAI, and multi-agent systems to identify opportunities for enterprise application.
- Prototype cutting-edge AI solutions, assessing feasibility, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
- Innovate with RAG and other advanced AI techniques to enhance information retrieval, accuracy, and real-time problem-solving.
- Establish and enforce AI governance policies to ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical AI use.
- Maintain compliance with global data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and enterprise security standards.
- Monitor AI models for fairness, bias, and performance, making continuous improvements to ensure reliability and trustworthiness.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams, data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to develop unified AI strategies.
- Guide cross-functional teams in adopting AI-powered methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Present complex AI strategies to stakeholders, demonstrating how AI-driven solutions align with business goals and add measurable value.
- Define KPIs for AI systems to track their impact on productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Continuously optimize AI workflows, ensuring alignment with changing business needs and user expectations.
- Leverage NowAssist AI to provide real-time performance monitoring and actionable recommendations for system improvements.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Architect (CSA) is highly desirable.
- Advanced AI certifications (e.g., AWS Machine Learning, Google Cloud AI) are preferred.

- 10+ years in AI/ML, data architecture, or enterprise solution architecture roles.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale AI initiatives, including NowAssist AI implementations.
- Extensive experience integrating AI agents into enterprise systems for role/persona-based support.
Desired Skills
- Expertise in AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI, RAG, NowAssist AI, and multi-agent systems.
- Proven experience embedding AI solutions into ERP platforms like ServiceNow, SAP, and Salesforce.
- Ability to design and implement multi-agent AI systems that deliver cohesive, persona-focused role support.
- Strong knowledge of data management technologies, including data lakes, ETL pipelines, and big data platforms.
- Mastery in developing persona-based, user-centric solutions using AI to simplify and optimize workflows.
- In-depth understanding of AI governance, ethical use, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Advanced skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, and AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and articulate AI strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience.
Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.
The general salary range for this type of role is 164k - 205k depending on skills and experience.
