SAP BTP Architect

As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we will be kicking off a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and as such we have created several positions to support this enterprise project (Project Nexus).
Role Purpose:
The SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Architect is responsible for designing and implementing solutions on the SAP BTP to extend and enhance the capabilities of the S/4HANA ERP system. This role involves bringing to bear SAP BTP's various services, such as integration, data management, analytics, and app development, to support the organization's digital transformation goals. The SAP BTP Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other architects to ensure that the platform is used effectively to meet business requirements and drive innovation.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact ERP transformation project with exposure to cutting-edge SAP technologies. The role is critical to ensuring that the organization leverages S/4HANA to drive business value and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the architecture and technical standards for using SAP BTP services, such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Intelligence.
- Lead the development and deployment of custom applications, extensions, and services on SAP BTP to meet specific business needs.
- Develop and maintain the overall architecture blueprint for SAP BTP in alignment with the organization’s digital strategy.
- Architect data management and analytics solutions on SAP BTP, bringing to bear tools like SAP Data Intelligence, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Define and enforce security standards for application development, data management, and integration on SAP BTP.
- Take the lead in handling all SAP BTP-related issues and inquiries within the S/4HANA transformation project.
- Provide regular status updates to project managers and senior leadership on the progress of SAP BTP-related activities.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on SAP BTP in large-scale SAP implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, API management, and integration technologies.
- Proficiency in SAP BTP development tools and methodologies, including SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and cloud-native development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
