Job description

About the Role

We’re looking for a Candidate Interview Specialist to focus on conducting interviews with candidates. Your role will involve speaking with people from diverse backgrounds, asking thoughtful questions, and gathering the information we need to support the hiring process. You’ll also ensure candidates feel comfortable and valued during their conversations with us.

This is a part-time role (20–30 hours per week), and we’re looking for someone based in Latin America who can work during the afternoons to align with Pacific Time. If you enjoy talking to people, are naturally curious, and can ask the right questions to get meaningful answers, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct structured interviews to understand candidates’ skills, experience, and goals.
  • Use provided forms or templates to take clear, accurate notes during interviews.
  • Ask follow-up questions to clarify responses or dig deeper when needed.
  • Create a positive experience for candidates, ensuring they feel heard and respected.
  • Analyze responses to identify key information or areas that need further discussion.
  • Share detailed feedback and interview notes with the team to help with hiring decisions.
  • Suggest improvements to interview questions or processes based on your observations.
What You Bring
  • Excellent Spoken English: You can speak fluently and confidently in a professional setting.
  • Strong Social Skills: You’re comfortable connecting with new people and can make them feel at ease during conversations.
  • Organized and Reliable: You can manage your time, keep interviews on schedule, and document notes accurately.
  • Curious and Analytical: You know how to ask the right questions and can understand what’s important from someone’s answers.
  • Proactive: You adapt easily during interviews and find ways to get the information needed, even in tricky situations.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in customer service, call centers, or similar roles where speaking with people is a core responsibility.
  • Familiarity with interview techniques or evaluating candidates (formal or informal).
  • An interest in recruitment or helping people find the right opportunities.
What We Offer
  • Flexible, part-time hours so you can work remotely from anywhere in Latin America.
  • Paid time off (PTO), even as a part-time employee.
  • The opportunity to develop valuable skills in interviewing and talent assessment.
  • The potential to transition into a full-time role in the future as you grow with the team.
  • A supportive and collaborative environment where your contributions make a real difference.
