About the role

As the Senior Manager GP Training Research, you will report to the National Director of Training and play a pivotal role in leading GP training research. You will lead and manage the GP training research team. You will oversee research projects, act as Chief Investigator on key studies, and contribute to translating research into educational practice. Your work will directly impact the quality and sustainability of GP training across the nation.

As our Senior Manager GP Training Research, you'll also:

• Manage the Registrar Clinical Encounters in Training project ensuring that it remains fit for purpose.
• Line manage research grants secured by the training unit.
• Direct the work of research literacy and capability building within GP training.
• Mentor and support medical educators, supervisors, registrars, and students in developing research plans, securing funding, and publishing findings.
• Drive innovation within the research team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality across all projects.
  
  
  

Skills & Experience

• PhD qualification.
• Proven experience leading research projects and teams.
• Expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and research methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder management expertise.
