About The Role

As a Medical Educator PEP Specialist, you will work closely with Medical Educators, Senior Medical Educators and National Clinical Lead to support assessment, medical education, strategy, and remediation functions, ensuring seamless program delivery.

As our Medical Educator PEP Specialist, you'll also:

  • Deliver all education and training activities associated with the PEP Specialist training program.
  • Work as a medical educator mentor to conduct inductions, learning needs assessments, monitor participant progress, consultation observations, and case discussions.
  • Participate in Workplace-Based Assessments (WBA) as an assessor.
  • Conduct in small group learning (SGL) webinars
  • Contribute to remediation, program document and resource development, and performance evaluations.


Skills & Experience

  • RACGP Fellowship.
  • CCE (Clinical Competency Exam), External clinical teaching visit (ECTV) or WBA Assessing experience would be highly desirable
  • Previous RTO experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training also highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking, and high level of attention to detail.
  • Confidence with technologies to assist GP training such as video conferencing (Zoom and Microsoft teams), screen sharing, email, and web portals.
