REMOTE SharePoint Developer / UI Developer - 1 Year Contract in Eastern US Time Zone

Job Overview

The North Carolina Department of IT - Transportation (NCDIT-T) is actively seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer / UI Developer to contribute to the ongoing development of ECM construction and preconstruction sites, alongside providing support for IDMS functionalities. This remote contract position requires candidates to be currently located in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the development and maintenance of extensive SharePoint repositories utilizing out-of-the-box views, lists, and libraries in SharePoint 2019 on-premise.
• Construct VueJS applications that interface with a SharePoint 2019 backend, ensuring the implementation of service workers and offline support.
• Apply a thorough understanding of SharePoint Search to enhance search functionalities.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to effectively manage large SharePoint repositories using CSOM, PNPSharePoint, and SSOM.
• Design and execute workflows using Nintex and SharePoint 2013 functionalities.
• Collaborate on the design of SharePoint page structures, site designs, and front-end development using JavaScript.
• Create UI elements and layout templates tailored to the specific requirements of business units.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient experience in SharePoint 2019 and the management of extensive repositories.
• Strong skills in developing VueJS applications.
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Search functionalities.
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting along with CSOM, PNPSharePoint, and SSOM.
• Familiarity with Nintex and SharePoint 2013 workflows.
• Experience in Asp.net C# development, particularly in relation to SharePoint integrations.
