About This Role:

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy and operational efficiency within the organization. This role involves overseeing financial tracking, reporting, and reconciliation processes, optimizing financial workflows, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for delivering actionable insights to senior leadership, enhancing profitability analysis, and managing a dynamic accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate tracking and reporting of contribution margins through systematic monitoring and analysis.
• Implement class-tracking systems that support detailed profitability analysis across revenue and expense categories.
• Reconcile revenue and expense accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies swiftly to maintain financial accuracy.
• Automate and streamline financial workflows to enhance operational efficiency and deliver timely reports.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, providing insights and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Train and guide team members to ensure accurate data entry and class assignment in line with established best practices.
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on cost allocation strategies and drive strategic decision-making.
• Maintain a compliance-driven environment by ensuring GAAP standards are upheld, with audit-ready financial records at all times.
• Regularly update the Asana workspace, ensuring efficient task management and alignment with organizational goals.
• Leverage financial insights to optimize processes, deliver actionable reports, and continuously improve financial tracking systems.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Filipino citizen.
• At least 3-5 years of freelancing experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with contribution margin analysis and variance reporting.
• Skilled in process optimization and automation.
• Leadership experience in training and managing accounting teams.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cost allocation strategies and financial decision-making.
• Proficient in using accounting software and tools (e.g., Fulfil/ERP).
