NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Virtual Production Supervisor based in our Concord, North Carolina office.

The Virtual Production Supervisor is responsible for the creation of visual elements displayed on ROE Visual LED displays used in content across multiple platforms. The Supervisor will use technical expertise and creativity to effectively utilize the available technology and teach others to do the same.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee, manage and execute the creation and presentation of graphics and visual elements displayed on the in-house ROE Visual LED displays and screens used in television and digital productions.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Camera, and Post-Production teams to ensure objectives are clearly communicated and executed to produce visually stimulating graphics.
• Partner with Production teams (creative and technical) to create shot lists that best showcase the displays.
• Provide guidance and direction on camera angles, tracking shots, object placement, lighting/lensing techniques for the best on-screen visual presentation.
• Oversee virtual production initiatives utilizing both creative and logistical knowledge and expertise.
• Use expertise to set up cue points and manage motion capture data.
• Develop and maintain best practices in the use of visual displays; partner with Productions and Content teams to share knowledge of these practices to best utilize the available technology and resources.
• Manage the organization and distribution of show elements and materials.
• Participate in client meetings to and manage appropriate follow-ups as needed.
• Work as part of the larger Technical and Logistic teams to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
• Travel: <5%
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required skills / experience:                   

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of five (5) years virtual production and/or in a virtual studio environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.             
• Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to understand both technical and artistic requirements and translate those requirements to the screen.
• Able to think analytically and problem solve quickly dealing with unpredictable scenarios during live shots and broadcasts.
• Well Organized and detailed oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and technical acumen for effective communication and collaboration.
• The ability to create stunning visuals for any type of project.  
• Working Knowledge of current Virtual Studio hardware, software, and production workflows required to execute shows, examples:  ROE Black Pearl LED Panels, ARRI Cameras, ARRI Lighting, AGS, Megapixel Helios VR Processors, XR Environments, Unreal Engine, Ghost Frame, Stype Camera Tracking.
• Knowledge of both physical and digital broadcasting practices.
• Possess an array of skills specifically tailored towards virtual production.
