Position: Technical Recruiter

Location: Boston MA, Glastonbury CT or remote

Job Type: Direct Hire

Technical Recruiter

This position allows you to wear multiple hats and assume significant responsibility early on in your career. You will be exposed to a range of people including very technical professionals as well as high level executives. You will also be in the rewarding position of helping professionals find jobs, while partnering with Account Managers to help them identify the talent they need.

This kind of work is suited for a hardworking individual with a drive to succeed and an interest in developing a challenging and fulfilling career. The ideal candidate is able to multi-task, think and move quickly and stay organized, is business oriented, and has exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruiting pipeline to help candidates through the recruiting life cycle
  • Proactively plan and manage recruitment for all positions within the relevant departments; including managing job postings and candidate sourcing
  • Check references and edit resumes
  • Source and identify candidates using all possible recruiting methods.
  • Screen & evaluate candidates via phone and face-to-face interviews.
  • Manage the interview process and schedule phone and onsite interviews.
  • Ensure proper documentation is complete for all candidates.

Required Skills

  • Must have professional presentation skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be outgoing, able to network among business professionals, and develop relationships.
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Aptitude to learn about Information Technology and about various industries.
  • History of gravitating toward competitive and challenging situations, with a track-record of success.
  • Energized by meeting new people, networking, and building relationships.
  • Fearless and optimistic attitude
