Job Description

As a Sr. UX Designer at Aspirant, you will be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. You will have the opportunity to use your understanding of the processes for discovering, designing, and optimizing factors to create a positive experience for the end user. The Sr. UX Designer will work with clients, strategists, and business analysts to create journey maps, personas, wireframes, and prototypes that optimize user experience. We will count on your expertise to help design, develop, execute, and deliver the finished customized product. This role supports us in developing creative technology solutions and puts you at the heart of our ability to offer the best services and products to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use case development, user stories, persona creation, journey maps, analysis, information architecture, interaction design and visual design to meet expectations of clients.
  • Create screen designs and interaction designs.
  • Understand behavior and how it interacts with solutions.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development design cycle as needed, from research, analysis, design, through release within an agile organization.
  • Provide expert insight into problems and assist team members with research and creating new/innovative approaches and designs.
  • Regularly and proactively communicate status, risks, and other issues related to design activities that are under development.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver information architecture, information design, visual design/page layouts, tools, services, and applications to support the complete cohesive user experience.
  • Leverage modern web technologies to define innovative user interfaces and interaction models that result in improved user productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop clear and engaging on-topic presentations to clients that build rapport with clients.
  • Make understanding end user requirements a constant priority.
  • Educate internal teams on best practices around information architecture, interaction and visual designs, usability and supporting technologies.
  • Support the team with other duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3 or more years of professional experience with proficiency in UX Design technical skills, including UX research, wire framing, prototyping, responsive design, user personas, HTML and interactive media.
  • Direct experience designing desktop and mobile platforms and solutions.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and end user requirements.
  • Successful track record of delivering integrated high-end user interfaces on schedule and within budget.
  • Deep knowledge of user center design processes and methodology.
  • Broad knowledge and advanced skills in visual design, information architecture, usability evaluation, and appropriate technologies.
  • Solid understanding of interactive web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Flex) and industry trends and experience developing and designing applications leveraging these trends.
  • Strong proficiency with user experience design tools.
  • Solid understanding of social design including behavior patterns from psychology and other social sciences.
  • Strong proficiency in modern design methodologies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents, diagrams, and data models.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely write design specification documents that convey complex analysis and solutions.
  • Ability to support team in the development of clear and engaging presentations on complex topics.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in Graphic Design.
