About The Job

We are looking for a driven Junior Information Security Analyst to join our InfoSec team. As an integral part of our team, you will respond to and investigate security incidents. Your experience in the BPO industry and understanding of the importance of adhering to processes will be advantageous in detecting anomalous and fraudulent user behavior. Your role will also include responding to internal requests, providing support to users (from an InfoSec perspective), and performing tasks to maintain a robust security posture.

The shift for this position will be 10.00 - 19.00 in your local timezone.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and Data Analytics


  • Perform continuous monitoring and assessment of tools for anomalous behavior and fraud indicators using provided tools.
  • Create and maintain fraud indicators, alerts and dashboards related to user behavior with provided tools.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and security trends.
  • Perform proactive reviews logs/dashboards available.
  • Create and maintain custom ad-hoc reports.
  • Identify, investigate and report upcoming trends within CRM and Account Management tools.


Incident Response and Remediation


  • Investigate and respond to incidents using an Incident handling procedure, including evidence collection according to stipulated guidelines.


Stakeholder Management


  • Create reports for monthly/quarterly reviews.
  • Attend client monthly / quarterly meetings. (where applicable)
  • Provide insightful information regarding the security controls and concerns around processes.


Business-as-Usual Infosec Tasks


  • Investigate security incidents using defined procedures.
  • Respond to assigned tickets in our Internal Ticketing System (ITS).
  • Identify and action emails incoming to the Security inbox.


About You


  • 1 - 2 years in the BPO industry in a Team Leader Role. Preferably operational experience at 5CA.
  • 1 year experience in Information Security.
  • Practical experience in ticket/escalations handling.
  • Strong familiarity with case-handling procedures.
  • CRM Platforms: Understanding of CRM tools, more specifically tools used by our clients.
  • Account Management Platforms: Understanding of Account Management tools, more specifically tools used by our clients.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Investigative: Analytical mindset to identify fraudulent activity and investigate incidents
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Adaptability: The security and client landscape evolves rapidly, so adaptability is crucial.


The following qualifications would be advantageous:


  • CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
  • ISO 27001 Foundations
