As a GTM Engineer, you'll do whatever you need to independently generate pipeline and help convert customers. You'll need the following for this role:
Ability to parse technical documentation - to the aim of
configuring sales experiments
understanding complex technical requirements from prospects, and what would need to be true of Zip to meet them
Ability to leverage software tools
Outgoing, gritty personality needed to close deals
Systems thinking — you can reason about tradeoffs as you build the sales system to maximize throughput
Ability to communicate with the customer in their language
Overall, we’re looking for sales engineers, gritty AEs, and anyone who loves finding and interacting with customers and using software to meet their goals.
Preferred requirements are flexible, but are loosely:
Familiarity with the sales process / sales pipelines
Confidence running discovery calls
Confidence using software like Apollo, Hubspot, and marketing tools.
Creativity
Ability to understand technical documentation and configure integrations
Willingness to learn new things
An interest in security
