Position Title: Senior Risk Analytics Manager

Location: Remote - LATAM

What you will be doing:

As a Risk Analytics Manager, you will lead the organization's identification, documentation, and reporting of risk events. Your role will involve guiding risk analysts in defining and systematically recording risk incidents, and converting these incidents into valuable data assets that support risk analytics and data science operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust risk frameworks, improve risk mitigation strategies, and ensure that risk-related data is effectively captured, analyzed, and communicated. Combining leadership with hands-on analytical work, you will help our organization proactively identify and mitigate risks, enhancing decision-making and business resilience. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the identification and systematic documentation of risk incidents across the organization.
  • Drive the conversion of risk incidents into actionable data assets to support analytics and data science teams.
  • Develop and implement risk frameworks, ensuring that risk-related data is captured, analyzed, and communicated efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, sales, marketing, and engineering to develop data-driven risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the building and management of analytics infrastructure components to strengthen risk analytics and science operations.
  • Build insightful quantitative materials that identify business opportunities and contribute to operational improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to ensure insights align with strategic goals and drive better decision-making.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends, providing recommendations for business strategies.
  • Participate in creating and enhancing ETL processes to ensure data flows smoothly and efficiently for risk analytics.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration within the team and other departments to ensure timely and impactful analytics.

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • +5 years of experience analyzing large datasets and managing data-driven projects.
  • +3 years of experience in risk management.
  • Strong scripting skills for analytical material management (SQL, Python).
  • Expertise in Snowflake and data warehouse management.
  • Proven experience in designing and building ETL processes for large data systems.
  • Familiarity with Looker or similar BI tools (nice to have).
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, or Economics).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams and experience with agile development practices.
  • Ability to dive deep into data and use it to meet and exceed business goals.
  • A passion for driving strategic decisions using data.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a proven ability to work with diverse teams.
  • A problem-solver mentality with the ability to identify trends and opportunities from complex data.
