OVERVIEW 

 

The Quality Assurance Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the evaluation processes of program sites by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sets to identify program trends. This position will utilize the program’s database to report on compliance with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and USCRI policies and procedures, strengthen service practices, and communicate areas of strengths and needs to programmatic teams. Their focus would be to generate system dashboards and reports, utilizing internal data, which will produce meaningful insights to support the programs strategic decision-making process and ensure effective service delivery. This position reports to the Associate Director of Children’s Services. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Collects, analyzes, tracks, and interprets data to ensure compliance and implementation of best practices;  
  • Utilize data visualization software to present data in a way that is easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand;
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare data reports;
  • Conducts ongoing data evaluations of program sites to ensure quality and continuity of services; 
  • Provides ongoing support to program staff by reporting evaluation outcomes to improve program results; 
  • Evaluates client and program outcomes to identify gaps in service provision;
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new data requests; 
  • Share identified data trends with senior management and operations team; 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Produces monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistic reports for submission to ORR; and 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related degree required;  
  • Minimum of two years professional experience;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;  
  • The ability to build positive relationships with others;
  • The ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure;
  • Experience with the Salesforce Database is highly preferred;
  • Experience with data visualization software and tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Canva;
  • Experience in program evaluation and quality assurance highly preferred;  
  • Strict adherence to time frames, policy and procedure; 
  • Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; 
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team; 
  • Willing to travel a few times annually; 
  • Ability to effectively use technology; 
  • Ability to generate charts and graphs reflecting data trends as collected and analyzed;
  • Fluency in Spanish is required;  
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record;  
  • Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to comply with mandatory state reporting requirement for child abuse and neglect;  
  • Candidate must have dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and displaced people;  
  • Candidate must pass a criminal background check that includes history of conviction of child and sexual abuse;  
  • Demonstrated support of USCRI’s values by exhibiting respect for others, maintenance of confidential information and an appreciation of a multicultural workplace. 

 

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS 

 

  • Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training; 
  • Satisfactory completion of ORR required trainings upon hire and on an annual basis; and 
  • Complete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

 

  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity; 
  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands; 
  • Occasional lifting (up to twenty-five pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; and 
  • Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).
