Job Title: Data / Quality Assurance Analyst
Working Schedule: Overlapping US hours
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

About the Role:
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data sets. You'll analyze data for errors and inconsistencies, develop solutions for improvement, and implement data quality processes to maintain a high standard. You'll also collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure data quality meets business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data from various sources to identify errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
  • Cleanse and standardize data according to established quality standards.
  • Develop and implement data quality control procedures.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and identify trends.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify the source of data quality issues.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to improve data quality.
  • Develop and maintain data quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and IT teams to ensure data quality meets business needs.
  • Create reports and dashboards to visualize data quality trends.
  • Stay up-to-date on data quality best practices and methodologies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and data manipulation tools (e.g., Excel, Access).
  • Experience with data quality tools (a plus).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
