Get to Know the Opportunity:    
The role of Senior Policy/Plan Service Coordinator provides customer service and support for operational transactions and processes. This role will assist in overall processing, and ongoing administration within the Payout Services / Sponsor Web team.  Works with a diverse product group including Defined Contribution Plans, Mutual Fund IRA’s, and Annuities. Reviews and processes client requests for policy/plan changes, premium accounting and/or disbursements according to established guidelines.
Please Note:  Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home . Hours 8am -5pm Eastern or Central Time

The Contributions You’ll Make:    

  • Coordinate with other departments and field/sales personnel to ensure accurate and complete processing of transactions within the Payout Services and Sponsor Web team.

  • Research and resolve issues related to processing transactions related to the overall Payout Services Team and Sponsor Web.

  • Analyze and research data and processes in relation to current and ongoing support and initiatives within the Payout Services and Sponsor Web team.

  • Produce and review daily reconciliation reports; research/resolve all out of balances.

  • Employ Continuous Improvement tools to work with team and internal business partners to identify and mitigate cross team workflow gaps.

  • Creation, review and maintenance of standard work, job aids and process procedures.

  • Handle calls from advisor and/or agent assistance both inbound and outbound calls/e-mails regarding SPIA’s.

  • Assist in monitoring of outstanding work and completion of transactions to ensure that production and accuracy standards are being met.

  • QA various transactions for accuracy and completeness.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:   

  • 1-2 years insurance industry customer service experience

  • In-depth financial industry and/or general business practice knowledge.

  • Strong rounded communication - verbal, written, via phone.

  • Strong decision-making skills.

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • Task Manager & Omni experience required.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • High school diploma; BA degree preferred.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
