Position Overview:
The West Coast Corporate Processing Team Lead is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the Corporate Processing Team, answering questions, assisting with daily needs, overseeing and delegating loans to the team, communicating branches loan status’, and keeping abreast of loan processing issues. This position works with designated branches and provides exceptional customer service at CrossCountry Mortgage.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise all aspects of the Corporate Processing Team including pipeline management of team, employee development, coaching, training, and performance management.
Respond to loan level and system questions with accuracy in a timely manner to Corporate Loan Processor Team.
Schedule and maintain weekly pipeline calls with dedicated branches.
Track and approve attendance and PTO times.
Oversee team’s file quality and turn times of loan files to ensure adherence to company SLA requirements.
Respond to e-mails, and/or phone calls within company SLA requirements.
Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, income and assets as required by loan program before submitting the file to underwriting.
Perform quality checks on loans of team members to identify training needs.
Assist team by completing required loan submission, resubmission and closing checklists.
Monitor team pipeline to ensure compliance as it pertains to RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, (all mortgage related regulations.) Prepare proper disclosures and redisclosures as required by regulations.
Document all communication related to the loan application in the LOS system’s conversation log.
Assist closing, secondary, and servicing to obtain documentation needed to clear outstanding suspense items for loans worked on and/or loans worked on from other transition team members.
Conduct weekly team meetings with processing team to ensure understanding of operations and agency changes and updates.
Work closely with Regional Processing Manager to meet objectives and operational goals of the department.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years residential mortgage processing experience required.
Team Lead/Management experience, preferred.
Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer lending regulations.
Experience with Encompass.
Excellent analytical, prioritization and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay Range:
- Base Pay: $24 - $28/hour
- Bonus: This position is bonus plan eligible.
- The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
This position primarily operates within Pacific Time zone working hours to support the West Coast region.
