Senior Analyst – Fidelio/OHC

Our Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Analyst – Fidelio/OHC to join their Shipboard Product Health Team in a shoreside capacity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, stability, and optimization of the Fidelio/Oracle Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) across their fleet.

We are specifically seeking candidates with prior cruise line experience as a Guest Accounts Purser or Financial Controller with in-depth knowledge of Fidelio/OHC SPMS and shipboard operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Support:
  • Provide expertise to shipboard teams regarding Fidelio PMS functionality and related processes, including guest accounts management, billing, financial operations and reservations.
  • Act as a liaison between shipboard and shoreside operations, identifying and addressing system inefficiencies or gaps.
• Incident Management:
  • Manage and resolve incidents reported to the Fidelio support team.
• Change Management:
  • Attend and participate in Change Approval Board Meetings.
  • Deploy changes to the Fidelio system
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze operational and financial data generated by Fidelio/OHC systems to provide insights into guest operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports to management on system performance, trends, and recommendations for enhancements.
• Process Optimization:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and refine policies and procedures related to Fidelio PMS usage to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Training and Development:
  • Support shipboard teams by conducting training sessions on Fidelio/OHC system functionalities and new updates.
  • Provide onboarding guidance for new employees, emphasizing system operations and best practices.
• System Performance Monitoring:
  • Ensure the seamless operation of the Fidelio PMS/OHC systems fleet-wide by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system performance issues.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to implement system updates, configurations, and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Guest Accounts Purser or Financial Controller on a cruise ship is required.
  • Hands-on experience with the Fidelio (PMS) is essential.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of shipboard guest service and financial operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multicultural teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to support shipboard operations or attend training.
