What We Are Looking For:
Produces and maintains a gap analysis between Corelation’s loan origination system (LOS) software offering and industry offerings from third party providers, considering the voice of our clients and future of the industry in the analysis. Bridge the gap between financial product expertise and our technology. Creates a plan to position and enhance our product offering and then works with a product team to build and implement the enhancements in a phased approach.
· Serve as a subject matter expert in the consumer lending. Experience with typical credit union loan products such as personal loans, auto loans, home equity loans, credit cards, and student loans.
· Understand lending regulations and risk management to help guide product development.
· Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing consumer loan products to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for enhancement.
· Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product owners, developers, executive team, legal team) and external partners (e.g., credit union clients) to gather insights and ensure alignment on product enhancement goals.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to inform product development and strategy.
· Demonstrates fundamental leadership skills.
· Lead process mapping and requirements gathering to develop clear technical specifications and user stories.
· Works with product teams during the design, development, testing, and implementation of enhancements.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Why You Are The Perfect Fit
Experience
Five plus years of experience in the commercial services field. An understanding of the KeyStone platform is a plus but not required. Previous experience as a Product Specialist and/or Product Analyst is a plus but not required.
Education
(1) A college degree (non-technical discipline) or (2) multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs or (3) in-depth industry and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training. 2 + years working on agile software development teams. (4) Earns a job-specific certification.
