We are set up for 100% remote work for individuals located in the province of Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. For individuals located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, there are hybrid (mix of on-site and remote) work opportunities.
Job Description
LuminUltra currently has an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity within an innovative and growing organization.
This role will play a critical part within the Finance team by providing support with the improvement and maintenance of sub-general ledgers, working closely with the customer experience and sales departments, and overseeing all forms of payment receipts in all related currencies.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly dependable individual who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will have key responsibilities, such as:
- Supporting the improvement and maintenance of the related sub general ledgers (customers) and all aspects of accounts receivable.
- Partnering with the Customer Service and Sales departments to improve related processes and customer experience.
- Ensuring that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensuring that accounts receivables are operated efficiently by identifying and tracking KPI’s as it relates to the function but also the quality and timeliness of inputs to the process.
- Overseeing all forms of payment receipts such as ACH, EFT, wires, paper checks in all related currencies.
- Standardizing procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates, processes and tracking tools.
- Being responsive to external customers and internal customers alike and be quick and accurate with communication.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven intermediate/advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Resourceful; able to solve problems and work independently.
- Proven experience being motivated, deadline-oriented, organized, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion, an asset.
- Proficiency in French and English, an asset.
