As a Project Manager you execute projects safely. You are responsible for preparation, planning, execution and close out of projects up to 5 M€, with complexity, high exposure, basic business risks and/or high environmental impact. And you are responsible for meeting the agreed project objectives (safety, quality, time, budget, COV requirements) and defined expectations.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSABLITIES

• Safely executing capital projects with budgets of up to €5M.
• You ensure that the projects you deliver are of high quality, meaning the projects meet the agreed process conditions.
• Ensuring projects adhere to cost and timeframes agreed during hand-over to you.
• Lead and coordinate the external partners (engineering companies, suppliers, construction contractors, etc.) throughout the project.
• Serve as the representative for the project, engaging with the Steering Committee and stakeholders.
• You work in a team with your fellow Project manager colleagues, you learn from each other and contribute to continuously improving the Project department.
• Implement industry best practices, lessons learned, and tools aligned with Covestro Group standards.
• Keep up to date with internal regulations and ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You have a high sense of ownership for the projects, your mindset is “What can I do for the project, and how can I support others to reach the projects goals”
• You think in solutions to move the project forward
• You have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• You have 2–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer.
• You bring proven expertise in project management processes (PMP) and have experience managing projects exceeding €2M.
• You are familiar with turnaround work processes and have a strong understanding of SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) requirements.
• You have a certification as a Project Manager (e.g., IPMA, PMI) (preferred).
• You are fluent in both English and Dutch and possess excellent communication skills.

• An excellent salary of minimum € 74,739 to maximum € 113,962 (Scale VS 1.1). This includes vacation allowance. You can also make annual steps within your salary scale.25 vacation days and the possibility to buy more days.
• A BenefitShop budget of 7% of your annual salary. You can use this budget to buy extra leave, to purchase a bicycle in a tax-friendly way or to have it paid out.
• Profit-Sharing Bonus (PSP): Depending on the salary grade, the target bonus percentage is 5%. The maximum payout can reach up to 12.5%.
• Do you travel business kilometers with your own transportation? Then you will receive a mileage allowance of € 0.36 per kilometer, of which € 0.23 is untaxed. (with a maximum of 100 km per day)
• A home work allowance of € 2.35 per day if you can work from home.
