About This Position 

We are passionate about leveraging data to drive our business forward and are looking for a talented Data Architect to join our growing team. 

Our ideal candidate is curious, always looking for new ways to solve problems, and has the aptitude to implement complex technologies quickly and effectively. In addition, you are collaborative and can make a well-rounded contribution to the team. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and manage our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Database Administrator (DBA) and Data Engineer, with extensive experience in PostgreSQL and Databricks. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures. 

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability. 

• Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and transformation. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. 

• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations. 

• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure smooth operation. 

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. 

What We're Looking For: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Proven experience as a DBA and Data Engineer. 

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Databricks. 

• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. 

• Proven experience with Azure cloud platform. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
