We are a global oncology company working to extend survival in some of the most aggressive forms of cancer through the development and commercialization of our innovative therapy, Tumor Treating Fields. Our commercialized products are approved in certain countries for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma and in the U.S. for the treatment of adult patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma. We have ongoing or completed clinical trials investigating Tumor Treating Fields in brain metastases, non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer and gastric cancer.
Headquartered in Switzerland, Novocure has U.S. operations in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania. Additionally, Novocure has offices in Canada, Germany, Japan, Poland and Israel.
The Financial CoordinatorI is responsible for building relationships with customers and internal partners, providing expertise and delivering consistent, exceptional customer service on behalf of Revenue Operations. This position will complete customer-facing transactional processes and facilitate the acquisition and delivery of information to manage key department functions.
This is a full-time, hourly, position reporting to the Supervisor, Financial Coordination.
Location: Either HYBRID in Portsmouth, NH vecinity with Mondays, Thursdays on-site in our Portsmouth, NH office, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are remote
or REMOTE if in the PST or MST timezone.
The preferred schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 11:00am EST - 8:00pm EST (8:00am - 5:00pm PST)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients and physicians offices, as well as with internal departments
Collaborate with key team members on a daily basis to understand the needs and urgency surrounding requests for deliverable
Execute timely follow-up with customers to secure requested information
Accurately log communications and hand-offs in systems
Ability to review accounts, understand current status, and communicate account needs clearly
Capacity to answer all incoming calls and assist customers with reimbursement-related requests
Ensure consistency across customer-facing functions
Identify opportunities for additional or improved services to meet unmet customer needs
Ensure all communications and interactions are in-line with Novocure’s patient forward mission
All other duties or priorities assigned by management as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
High school diploma or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
0-2 years of experience in healthcare or in a customer-facing role
Familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology preferred
Experience working with CRM and documentation management systems preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
Demonstrated excellence in meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Strong customer service skills
Effectiveness in de-escalating and resolving difficult situations
Ability to solve problems and set priorities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced office setting
