Role: Regional Business Manager – Breast & Skeletal Health

Location: Central and Southern Italy

Hologic is seeking a Regional Business Manager to support the National Sales Manager in implementing the Commercial Strategy for the Breast and Skeletal Health division. Ideally based in Lazio and working across Central and Southern Italy, the Regional Business Manager will manage Agents and Distributors to reach and exceed sales and profitability targets.

What you can expect:

  • Establish clear sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Propose the annual budget as well as long term sales business plans to the National Sales Manager, Country lead and international management where necessary.
  • Be the connection between the sales team, distributors and company to ensure correct commercial execution.
  • Provide Scientific support for Sales Agents and the commercial team across the region.
  • Develop & implement commercial strategies for large private customers.
  • Act as a key contributor in managing regional and national tenders.
  • Analyze the territory, account and product sales to identify market gaps, sales opportunities and business risks and support the development of Customer segmentation.
  • Support the implementation of salesforce database.

What we expect:

  • Demonstrate sales experience within the MedTech industry, ideally with experience of managing Radiology products/ systems.
  • Proven experience of managing a commercial team and/or distributors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Italian market and KOLs within the region.
  • Strong technical knowledge of instruments.
  • Experience of selling Consumable and Capital Equipment would be beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with external stakeholders (KOLS, medical staff) and internally with Sales and Marketing colleagues.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Since this position requires you to drive extensively during the workday a valid driving license and driving record satisfactory to the Company.
